Biography
Peter Busby received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1974 and completed his Architecture degree at UBC in 1977. Peter founded his architectural firm in Vancouver in 1984. The firm now includes 51 employees involved in projects across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

Peter is deeply committed to environmental sustainability. The firm is recognized internationally as a leader in green building design. The firm’s success has been proven through award recognition for completed buildings, documented reductions in energy consumption, and Canada’s first new LEED™ Gold building completed in 2003.

Peter actively participates in: AIBC Education Task Force, AIBC Design Built Task Force, and the US Green Building Council, and he is one of the founding members of the CAGBC. In 1997 Peter was admitted to the College of Fellows of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
